HEIR, a Web3 platform founded by Michael Jordan and his son Jeffrey last December, is expanding into the NFT space by introducing its first athlete membership NFT with Bulls star Lonzo Ball.
The NFT collection, which includes 4,200 NFTs, was created in partnership with Chicago native and famous streetwear designer Don C. and will be available on Magic Eden’s Launchpad, a Solana-based marketplace, on June 7.
Instead of merely purchasing digital souvenirs of their favorite player, HEIR allows fans to become part of that athlete’s inner circle.
Thus, NFT holders will not only own the digital artwork; they will also receive access to special content, products, in-person events, Q&As, and other experiences.
With a new world at hand, the company plans to continue its path. After filing a trademark application for its project, and following the launch of its 6 RINGS NFT collection, the company began making inroads with NFT enthusiasts.
