Automobili Lamborghini has teamed up with Animoca Brands to “shape the future of brand engagement in the automotive industry.”
While specific details of the partnership’s outcome remain undisclosed, the collaboration seeks to leverage the strengths of both companies to create unique experiences for Lamborghini’s fans and customers.
Chosen partners for this initiative include Gravitaslabs, a creative design studio, and Motorverse, a global ecosystem for digital vehicles and racing games developed by Animoca Brands.
This partnership is set to expand Lamborghini’s presence in the Web3 space, a journey it began in 2022. In January of that year, Lamborghini launched its first non-fungible token (NFT) project — “Space Time Memory” — which started with the auction of five NFTs.
In April 2022, the company auctioned its Aventador Ultimae, paired with an exclusive 1:1 NFT.
August 2022 saw the announcement of Lamborghini’s third NFT initiative — an eight-month-long project that concluded in March of the following year. This project also celebrated Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary with the airdrop of a special NFT titled “The Future Began in 1963.”
Last year, Lamborghini also entered into a partnership with VeVe to introduce some of its most iconic sports cars to the NFT space, beginning with the Huracán STO.
