Renault‘s Korean division is embarking on another exciting venture in the world of Web3 by announcing the launch of a non-fungible token (NFT) campaign that actively involves the community.
The initiative, named “Create Your SM6,” introduces an innovative artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Stable Diffusion, enabling participants to enter keywords inspired by Renault’s SM6 TCe300 model and generate unique images that will be distributed as NFTs.
A total of 6,300 NFTs will be issued, with each participant receiving only one. Once the campaign concludes, the prize winners will be showcased on the event page, and the NFTs will be delivered directly to the participants’ digital wallets. Additionally, based on their ranking, participants may have the opportunity to win klaytn cryptocurrency, the native token powering the Klaytn blockchain.
The Create Your SM6 campaign marks the third endeavor of its kind, following Renault’s previous NFT-based projects. Last year, the company launched the “Create Your Epic Car” campaign in October, followed by the “XM3 E-Tech Hybrid Meta Unpacked” campaign in November, which featured a virtual launch event for their compact car.
Renault has displayed a strong commitment to the Web3 landscape. In May, the automotive giant celebrated its 50th anniversary by introducing “Racing Shoe5,” its second NFT collection inspired by the R5 Turbo. The initial NFT collection, named “genR5,” was released by Renault in December 2022 and comprised 1,972 unique digital assets.
With its active participation in Web3 and the use of NFTs, Renault continues to showcase its dedication to embracing cutting-edge technology and engaging with its community. By involving participants in the creation and ownership of digital collectibles, Renault demonstrates its forward-thinking approach in the ever-evolving digital landscape.
