The Glenrothes announced the release of The Glenrothes 36-Year-Old Single Cask Scotch whisky yesterday, along with a non-fungible token (NFT).
The 168 bottles offered on ReserveBar.com for $3,600 apiece, as well as the non-fungible token (NFT) designed by The New Yorker illustrator Maddie Dai, were all sold out within a few hours of their release.
Bottles were available for pre-order and will be shipped in June or as soon as they become available in the buyer’s market.
The Glenrothes NFT will live on the forward-thinking Solana, one of the most sustainable blockchains in the market.
NFT holders will have the unique opportunity to take part in real-life events all around the world, including an exclusive tour of The Glenrothes distillery (traditionally closed to the public).
