Rarible, the NFT marketplace that currently supports Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, Flow, and Tezos, has made its Polygon community marketplace builder publicly available.
The builder would allow NFT creators to build their own NFT marketplaces — for free and without having to write any code.
Because the built-in community marketplace displays aggregate orders, if collectors have their collections listed on other NFT marketplaces like LooksRare, those orders will also appear on the community marketplace. Among the other platforms covered in the aggregation are OpenSea, X2Y2, and Rarible.
The community marketplaces created with Rarible’s builder will also support (apart from Ethereum) the Polygon blockchain — known for its scalability, low cost, and speed.
The process will be simple and will only take a few minutes; creators will need to access Rarible by connecting the wallet that houses their collections, then browse to the collection and select the “create marketplace” option. Following that, a few easy actions will finalize the marketplace’s creation.
By creating a “personal” marketplace, NFT artists would be able to showcase their unique identity and set themselves apart from other creators – something difficult to achieve on other NFT platforms.
There are many community marketplaces that have already been built using Rarible’s builder, such as McFarlane Toys Digital, an NFT collection from McFarlane Toys, CryptoPunks V1, Pixel Vault, and many more.
This is another step forward for Rarible in improving the experience for creators. Last October, it focused on collectors by launching its NFT aggregator, which allows them to get the best NFT prices from various marketplaces while saving time.
