Palm Collective and Polygon have collaborated on a non-fungible token (NFT) art contest leading up to NFT Paris, the prominent annual NFT conference scheduled for February 23-24, 2024.
Artists interested in participating in the contest, known as “Call x Digital Art,” are required to connect a crypto wallet and create a Palm ID. Then, they should mint their artwork on the Palm Network and submit it to the PolyArts Community.
Each artist is allowed to submit a single creation, which must be original and not previously minted on any other blockchain. Artists are required to openly disclose whether they employed artificial intelligence (AI) during the creation process of their artwork.
The top three artists, determined by community votes, will be showcased on February 23 during Polygon Lab’s NFT Paris exhibition. This exhibition is a collaboration with The Sandbox and the Web3 fashion house SYKY. Winners will also receive a $1,000 grant from the Palm Foundation.
Submissions are due by 4 pm EST today, February 16, and the PolyArts community voting period is set for February 19 to 20.
Recently, Palm Collective launched the “Call x Design” contest, running from February 5 to February 9. The competition offered artists the chance to design Nike Air Force 1 sneakers and exhibit their creations at EthDenver. The winner of the competition was announced yesterday, February 12.
