Lacoste is making waves again with updates on its UNDW3 Web3 project, which was initially introduced in 2022 with the release of NFT cards.
As an expansion of the initiative, NFT cardholders now have the opportunity to connect their wallets and delve deeper into the UNDW3 experience. This means they can participate in quests, interact with the brand, and unlock exclusive perks.
Each week, the community will also have the chance to participate in raffles, where they can win rewards like branded merchandise and digital twins.
As users will complete the activities of “The Mission,” their NFT will visually evolve and transform into a Lacoste access card. By actively engaging with the brand, members become part of the Lacoste community and gain influence over the brand’s future direction.
Lacoste initially introduced the UNDW3 experience in June 2022, aiming to revolutionize the fashion industry and provide customers with a more immersive and engaging experience to foster loyalty. This launch involved the release of a collection featuring 11,212 NFTs.
The following month, Lacoste filed a trademark application, signaling its interest in venturing into the metaverse with a new brand. In November, the brand teamed up with Web3 development studio Emperia to establish a virtual store within the metaverse.
