Lacoste has filed a new trademark application for the launch of the “CHAMPS ELYSEES“-brand of apparel and luggage, indicating its intent to make it a metaverse brand as well.
According to the application submitted to the USPTO on July 15, the company aims to supply clothing and luggage goods that can also “be used in the virtual world, the internet, and the metaverse.”
The news was shared via Twitter by trademark attorney Josh Gerben.
