Melania Trump, the former first lady, is diving deeper into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Her latest endeavor, called “1776,” is set to commemorate Independence Day on July 4.
The collection boasts 3,000 NFTs, each with six unique versions showcasing iconic American monuments that embody liberty and the founding principles of the USA. Among these landmarks are the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, and the Liberty Bell. To amplify the patriotic experience, every NFT will be accompanied by an American-themed music track.
The 1776 Collection is minted on the eco-friendly Solana blockchain and is now available for purchase on USA Memorabilia, the leading NFT platform specializing in United States memorabilia.
Each NFT is priced at $50, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to Fostering the Future, an initiative associated with Melania Trump’s Be Best campaign. This charitable program focuses on securing educational opportunities and scholarships for children in the foster care community.
This release adds to Melania Trump’s growing list of NFT-related projects. Her journey began in December 2021 when she introduced her first NFT initiative. Since then, she has continued to unveil new NFT collections, and even Donald Trump joined in with his own release of NFT trading cards featuring himself in different settings.
