Renault Korea is diving into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) once more, this time in a Web3 initiative aimed at promoting its XM3 E-Tech Hybrid model.
The campaign, named “XPERIENCE MOR3,” is a collaborative effort between Renault and Altava, a prominent fashion-tech company.
Within the scope of this initiative, Renault and Altava are set to introduce a series of 3,333 NFTs co-designed by French 3D artist and art director, Guillaume Sauzey.
These NFTs will be created through artificial intelligence (AI) linked to a browser-based mini-personality gaming test developed by Altava. This test will use key brand values of Renault Korea, including “innovation” and “experience.”
The test will present users with eight choices between different word pairs, such as “Electric” vs. “Analog” or “Sporty” vs. “Elegant.”
After completing the test, users will have the opportunity to log in and claim a complimentary NFT reflecting their personality, be it that of an adventurer or a professional racer.
Besides these NFT rewards, participants in the campaign can expect the chance to win exclusive rare NFTs, Klaytn tokens, and even the opportunity to rent the unique Guillaume Sauzey-designed XM3 E-Tech Hybrid. Winners will be announced by October 31, marking the conclusion of the campaign.
This latest venture marks Renault’s fourth foray into the world of NFTs. In a similar move earlier in the year, Renault launched a community-driven NFT campaign, “Create Your SM6,” where participants generated NFTs inspired by SM6 model-related keywords.
During the same month, Renault introduced “Racing Shoe5,” an NFT collection inspired by the R5 Turbo. In December 2022, the company commemorated the Renault 5 model with the “genR5” NFT collection.
