American international fast food restaurant chain Wendy’s has filed trademark applications for “WENDY’S,” the “Wendy” Logo, “FROSTY,” “BACONATOR,” and “WENDYVERSE,” expressing its intention to enter the metaverse and embrace NFTs.
The applications submitted to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office signal the fast-food giant’s plans to provide:
- NFTs and digital tokens;
- Virtual foods, drinks, and restaurants;
- Online communities for digital assets and virtual worlds.
