KEY POINTS
Upland, a leading metaverse gaming platform, has kicked off its “Share and Build” airdrop series, designed to reward users for their engagement and interactions.
The initial phase of the program, spanning three weeks, introduces a series of social media activities and in-metaverse missions for participants to complete.
As users actively take part in and fulfill these tasks, they stand to receive Sparklet tokens — the native utility token of the Upland metaverse. These tokens empower creators to generate content, develop experiences, and acquire assets within the platform through accessible, no-code tools.
Participation in the campaign requires users to link their X (Twitter) accounts, with their level of engagement and social media activity determining their point score.
Each completed chapter of the airdrop series also entitles participants to a “Block Explorer” non-fungible token (NFT), serving as a valuable game piece within the Upland universe. Moreover, the accumulation of five such tokens unlocks another exclusive NFT, further enriching the gaming experience.
Since its inception in 2019 as a virtual property trading game mapped onto the real world, Upland has recorded over 4 million properties, predominantly situated across various regions of the United States, including Los Angeles, Chicago, Detroit, Queens, and more.
To date, Upland stands as one of the most used Web3 platforms, boasting over 3 million registered accounts, an average of 30,000 daily active players, nearly 300,000 unique landowners, and the sale of over 6 million NFTs.
