The Metamall Group, which participated in the ‘Dubai Metaverse Assembly‘ last month at the ‘Museum of the Future‘ in Dubai, UAE, has a clear mission: to revolutionize the shopping experience globally.
Using cutting-edge technology and the power of Web3, Metamall is set to kick off a virtual shopping mall, removing any geographical or physical boundaries and allowing anyone to shop from anywhere and at any time.
This would change the way merchants conduct business, how consumers respond, and how the two might connect more closely to improve the shopping experience.
As a result, while users will be able to make purchases and have physical items shipped to them, merchants will be able to reach wider audiences, improve their brand awareness, and see their sales increase.
People will be able to meet and greet their friends in the virtual shopping mall in addition to shopping.
To that end, Metamall will establish a token economy in which the MTML (Metamall Group Token) will be accepted as a form of payment for products and services within the metaverse. The token, which is built on the Polygon blockchain, is environmentally friendly, scalable, and has rapid transaction times.
Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will also play a key role in the Metamall experience; consumers will be able to earn them as prizes for completing tasks, via AirDrop, or simply by making specific purchases.
The usage of particular Virtual Reality (VR) equipment would eventually make the shopping experience seamless.
It appears that the metaverse is developing and will continue to change the way people go about their everyday routines. Although some may be skeptical, others, such as those who are physically or geographically disadvantaged, may substantially benefit from this new world, a world without requirements.
