Starbucks has revealed the debut of the second non-fungible token (NFT) collection as part of its Web3-related program, Starbucks Odyssey.
The collection, dubbed “The First Store,” pays homage to the original Starbucks store, which opened in 1971 in Seattle’s Pike Place Market, initiating a coffee movement that quickly expanded across the world.
The collection includes 5,000 Stamps illustrating various elements from the store; each NFT costs $100 and will be available only to Starbucks Odyssey members.
The Starbucks First Store NFT collection will be released on the Nifty Gateway NFT marketplace tomorrow, April 19, 2023, at 9 a.m. PDT.
Starbucks launched its Starbucks Odyssey NFT-based loyalty program in September 2022, with the goal of offering the community new, immersive coffee experiences while retracing the company’s history and looking forward.
Starbucks debuted the inaugural NFT collection, “The Siren Collection,” inspired by its iconic logo, in March and sold out in only 20 minutes.
