After the remarkable success of his first collection, former US President Donald Trump has announced the release of the second series of his popular NFT cards.
The second collection, which was announced via Trump’s social media platform Truth Social, follows the same style and premise as the first: the president is funnily depicted on the cards in a variety of scenarios and professions.
Each NFT costs $99 and is now available for purchase on the dedicated marketplace.
Some of those cards will be one-of-a-kind, meaning the buyer will be the only one with a copy, while others will be produced in limited edition sets of no more than ten copies per set.
Trump also introduced a sweepstakes program, providing a chance to win a private dinner at his Mar-a-Lago Florida residence for anyone who purchase 47 cards (worth $4,653 in total) — an apparent allusion to his dreams of becoming the 47th President of the United States.
Trump debuted his first NFT collection in December, garnering both love and criticism from the community. Nevertheless, the value of the NFTs quickly surged, and according to a filing from the United States Office of Government Ethics, Trump profited somewhere between $500,000 and $1 million from sales of the first collection.
