Samsung Latin America has announced the debut of its “House of SAM” metaverse experience on the virtual reality platform Decentraland.
Users will be able to learn about the Samsung brand and products in a fully immersive environment.
In fact, the House of SAM will function as an “experimentation hub” where avatars can interact and participate in exclusive courses, shows, and events while learning about SmartThings – the application that connects and controls smart electronic devices – and other brand devices such as Samsung smart TVs.
Users will also be able to play mini-games like Color Match and participate in the Let’s Dance Challenge, where game winners and guests will be able to collect wearables (NFTs) for their avatars.
The house, which debuted on October 1, is located in the land next to the Samsung 837X concept store in the metaverse.
A major part of Samsung’s effort to reach out to Generation Z has been its involvement in a variety of Web3 activities.
Last month, it launched its Discover Samsung Event on its Discord channel along with an NFT gamified hunt with prizes worth $0-500.
In August, the company entered into agreements with major retailers to provide real benefits to New Galaxy NFT holders.
In July, Samsung unveiled Space Tycoon, a virtual world in which users can develop, play, and share games and experiences utilizing Samsung Electronics products.
