The Korean company Samsung has unveiled “Space Tycoon,” an online game built within the global metaverse platform Roblox.
Samsung Space Tycoon is a virtual environment where users can create, play, and share games and experiences using Samsung Electronics’ products and alien characters in space.
Three play areas are available in Space Tycoon: the Mining Zone, the Shop, and the Lab.
Space Tycoon allows users to design various Samsung products from Galaxy phones to TVs and home appliances and upgrade them.
The chance to start with real-world objects and give them a facelift to become in-game devices allows users to express their creativity. For example, the foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Flip can also convert into a suitcase or a scooter.
Over 20 Samsung products are now accessible in the Shop. The colors of the purchased items might vary at random according to the levels attained and a new product series will be added periodically.
According to the company, additional capabilities, such as the ability for users to connect with one another, share their creations, and attend exclusive virtual parties, will be introduced in the future.
