Salesforce, a cloud-based technology business, has announced the launch of its NFT Cloud pilot program, which is intended to give customers an easy-to-use and complete set of tools for managing their own NFT campaigns.
The NFT Cloud pilot program, in particular, will help brands to mint, manage, and sell NFTs directly on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform, allowing them to build linked experiences in both the real and digital worlds.
The program was created with an emphasis on environmental sustainability in mind; it incorporates net-zero, allowing businesses to join this market with a values-driven approach. The new pilot program also offers more sustainable blockchain options for companies, automating carbon emission calculations and allowing companies to offset emissions by purchasing carbon credits.
Aside from sustainability, Salesforce prioritizes security in its program. It is incorporating security and trust into every layer of the NFT Cloud pilot, such as audited smart contract templates to protect sellers and buyers, branded first-party marketplaces to provide secure checkout experiences, and fraud prevention tools to help keep NFTs secure and out of the hands of bots and malicious attackers.
The new NFT pilot program is being established in response to an increasing desire among Salesforce customers to extend into web3.
