Named “Blackpink The Palace,” the experience offers global fans an opportunity to come together in a digital realm where they can revel in virtual parties, dance, and engage in interactive games.
Enthusiasts will also have the chance to customize and host their own parties within various themed rooms across The Palace, each drawing inspiration from iconic scenes featured in Blackpink’s memorable music videos.
The experience also includes a gamified element, allowing participants to wield their Lightstick hammer to strike crystals in subterranean caverns beneath The Palace. These strikes will grant users enhanced power to upgrade their hammers.
Also, avatars of Blackpink’s beloved members — Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa — will surprise fans by making appearances at moments, granting fans the chance to capture photos and engage in other exclusive opportunities.
The grand inauguration of the Blackpink The Palace experience is scheduled to unfold from Friday, August 25, to Saturday, August 26. During the opening event, users will have the chance to earn an exclusive digital Day 1 Badge as a token of their participation.
This initiative exemplifies yet another instance of leveraging the metaverse to bring fans together and amplify their connection with artists, effectively bridging geographical gaps.
