Adidas has teamed up with the non-fungible token (NFT) project Doodles to launch a limited-edition apparel collection.
The collaboration will feature NFT packs, each containing two items from the Adidas Originals x Doodles collection.
Buyers will also have the opportunity to win redeemable items, including one of 200 Deysi Tracksuits or Deysi Superstar Shoes, along with digital wearables. These items are inspired by the digital mascot Deysi, featured in “Not in the Store” by Pharrell Williams and Coi Leray.
The packs are set to go on sale on August 16 at 12 pm ET. A single pack is priced at $4.99, while bundles containing between two and 100 packs range from $8.49 to $374.99.
Once buyers reveal their packs, they can choose the size for any redeemable items they wish to claim or resell them on the Magic Eden NFT marketplace.
This release follows Doodles’ April announcement of a partnership with Pharrell Williams for “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” a Web3 project that combines multiple dimensions of storytelling.
This isn’t the first collaboration between Doodles and Pharrell Williams. Last year, they worked together on an exclusive NFT drop called “The Pharrell Pack.”
Doodles, which launched in 2021, is a collection of 10,000 generative NFTs that has quickly become a significant player in the Web3 space. Data from CoinMarketCap shows that the project has achieved an all-time trading volume of 343,321 ETH, roughly equivalent to over $897 million, with a floor price of 1.72 ETH, or about $4,493.
The popularity of Doodles has been further bolstered by collaborations with well-known brands. In February, Doodles partnered with Casio to release a G-Shock NFT watch designed by Burnt Toast. Each watch, priced at $169, came with a digital collectible. Last year, Doodles also collaborated with footwear brand Crocs to create limited-edition Classic Clogs and an accompanying NFT.
