Doodles has recently introduced “Dullsville and the Doodleverse,” a collaborative storytelling venture with American record producer and rapper Pharrell Williams.
As revealed in a post on X (Twitter) on April 4, this initiative is part of a broader campaign dubbed “Project Gray,” aimed at delivering an immersive, multi-dimensional storytelling experience through various mediums such as film, music, live events, partnerships, merchandise, and digital collectibles.
In addition to featuring music by Pharrell Williams, the campaign will enlist the talents of renowned artists like Lil Wayne and Coi Leray. These artists will also lend their voices to characters in the film, with Lil Wayne portraying “Captain Stoke” and Coi Leray taking on the role of “Deysi.”
Scheduled for release this summer, the campaign will culminate in an immersive premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
According to the post, further details regarding collaborators, distribution, and additional featured artists are slated to be disclosed soon.
This announcement signifies another stride by Doodles in expanding its horizons beyond the NFT space.
Just recently, the project unveiled a partnership with MNTGE to introduce NFT-inspired vintage jackets. Earlier initiatives include collaborations with Casio to introduce a G-Shock physical watch accompanied by an NFT counterpart, as well as a collaboration with Crocs for limited-edition physical Classic Clogs and NFTs.
