A new trademark application from another big food restaurant chain follows McDonald’s and Panera Bread‘s recent filings.
The American fast-food restaurant chain Panda Express, serving American Chinese cuisine, is filing a trademark application this time.
Panda Express filed four trademark applications for “PANDAVERSE”. The company plans to create a “virtual restaurant featuring actual and virtual goods.”
Specifically, the company intends to build virtual restaurants and cafes that provide virtual items and beverages that can be used in the metaverse.
The news comes from trademark attorney Josh Bergen, who tweeted “Panda Express is getting ready for the metaverse.”

It seems that this is only the beginning for the metaverse and NFTs. Each day, more and more trademark applications are submitted by companies looking to gain an advantage over the competition by implementing this new technology in order to expand their business even further.
It is only a matter of time before we find ourselves living in a new, technologically-based world.
