Paris Hilton‘s 11:11 Media, a worldwide media, brand, and intellectual property company, has revealed aspirations to join the metaverse.
11:11 Media will buy land in The Sandbox, the leading virtual world where users can create, control, and monetize their gaming experiences.
The land that 11:11 Media seeks to buy will be turned into a number of virtual real estate plots, inside which Hilton intends to sell Paris-themed NFTs and hold a series of parties.
Hilton has revealed some details about what this would involve, including the fact that she “is planning social and community events such as rooftop parties and glamorous social experiences at her virtual Malibu mansion.”
This is not the first time Paris Hilton has made news in the Web3 realm. After holding a metaverse New Year’s Eve party on Roblox last year, Paris Hilton presented her first-ever NFT collection, “Paris: Past Lives, New Beginnings,” selling one of the collection’s NFTs for nearly $200,000.
Paris Hilton has also been interested in investing in NFT and crypto initiatives and companies such as MoonPay and NFT ticketing platform Afterparty.
