Rolling Loud, an international hip-hop music festival held in the United States, Europe, Australia, and Canada, has taken its first big step into Web3 by announcing the launch of its first non-fungible token (NFT) collection.
The collection, named LoudPunx, consists of 10,000 utility-enabled NFTs, each of which grants lifetime worldwide access to every Rolling Loud Music Festival.
LoudPunx NFT holders will also get special status at all Rolling Loud events, with benefits such as priority entrance, access to the secret LoudPunx-only lounge, and access to premium merch collaborations.
Although the date, pricing, and other specifics of the mint will be disclosed soon, the initiative has already made its voice heard. After all, this isn’t the first time such a project has been proposed. FestivalPass just launched its Festival Family Founder NFT, which includes instant utility and VIP entrance to quarterly bucket list events. Similarly, Coachella launched three NFT collections a few months back, including lifelong festival passes, digital collectibles redeemable for physical stuff, and more.
