Casa San Matías, one of Mexico’s oldest tequila distilleries, announced its debut in the metaverse with the goal of innovating and sharing tequila processes on Web3.
To that end, the tequila company acquired a property on The Sandbox, a metaverse where users can buy virtual land and personalize it with games and interactive activities, and created immersive experiences for users.
As a result, visitors will be able to immerse themselves in the process of making the Mexican distillate by exploring places using blockchain technology.
Casa San Matías will ensure that visitors, upon entering the virtual field, are part of the jima (the agave shredding process) and are familiar with the house’s many brands, in addition to studying the history and methods of each of the tequilas it has. Finally, users will be able to own NFT agave and other key elements in the creation of tequila.
From now on, Casa San Matías will embark on a process of creation, evolution, and ongoing improvement for the metaverse‘s first agave field. Users will gradually be able to participate in new activities, as well as connect and communicate in a completely digital world.
Casa San Matías strives to be the connection between evolution and tradition, which is why they stay committed to teaching the quality stage.
