Mercedes-Benz continues to delve deeper into the Web3 landscape, spotlighting its Concept CLA Class car model at the prestigious IAA Mobility 2023 in Germany, one of the world’s foremost mobility expos.
The latest iteration boasts the MBUX Superscreen, featuring cutting-edge real-time graphics powered by game engine technology.
Notably, the MBUX Collectibles function introduces a new dimension to the vehicle. It seamlessly integrates the customers’ personal non-fungible token (NFT) wallet, allowing them to curate their own private art gallery from an exhibition curated by Mercedes-Benz.
As a result, Concept CLA Class car owners will be able to proudly display their NFT art on one of the vehicle’s screens.
This isn’t Mercedes-Benz’s first foray into the NFT space. Just last week, it unveiled the “NXT Icons” NFT collection as a tribute to its rich design heritage. Prior to this, in May, Mercedes-Benz NXT collaborated with artist Harm van den Dorpel and Fingerprints DAO to release its inaugural NFT collection, titled “Maschine.”
Its NFT journey started in January 2022 when the company partnered with Art2People to craft an exclusive Mercedes-Benz NFT collection centered around the G-Class vehicle line.
