Chinese multinational technology corporation Lenovo has announced the debut of the ThinkReality VRX, a new all-in-one Virtual Reality (VR) headset designed for enterprises.
The role of XR technology in business
As Extended Reality (XR) technology becomes increasingly important for enterprises, allowing hybrid employees to accomplish more, VR solutions could indeed enter the picture, enhancing efficiency in staff training and virtual collaboration.
According to PWC’s VR Soft Skills Training Efficacy Study, businesses are seeing up to 4X quicker soft skill training compared to classroom training and 275% higher confidence in applying skills gained in VR. Furthermore, VR training can minimize the risk of workplace injury by up to 43%.

These factors and others led Lenovo to create ThinkReality VRX, a “highly versatile, secure on-ramp to the enterprise metaverse.”
To assist enterprises in achieving success in the new realities of the business environment, Lenovo ThinkReality VRX is backed by a comprehensive package of end-to-end services ranging from consultancy and content creation to cloud deployment and customer support.
The ThinkReality VRX will be accessible to select partners for early access by the end of 2022, with full availability in select countries globally beginning in early 2023.
