Canadian-American actor and comedian Jim Carrey has unveiled his second non-fungible token (NFT) artwork.
The NFT, dubbed “Goon in Moonlight,” has a reserve price of $50,000 (about 29.6 ETH), and is a multimedia art piece combining Carrey’s talents in drawing, painting, digital animation, writing, and vocal performance. With ethereal background vocals by Jane Carrey, the NFT was produced in partnership with Big Head Club.

“In the unavoidable romance of moonlight, the Goon is doomed to recoil from memories of lost loves and the agony of regret that can transform any one of us into something loathsome in our own mind,” Carrey stated.
Goon In Moonlight is being auctioned on SuperRare starting at 3:00 p.m. EST today and will run through Thursday.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the non-profit World Central Kitchen, founded by José Andrés in 2012, to provide natural disaster victims with meals.
The release of ‘Goon in Moonlight’ NFT follows the release of Sunshower NFT in June. The digital artwork was created in collaboration with director David Bushell and is based on his painting of the same name. It sold for over $105,000 (62.04 ETH), with the money going to Feeding America, a charity organization with a countrywide network of over 200 food banks.
