Decentraland is ready to host Metaverse Fashion Week 2023 (MVFW 2023), the world’s largest virtual fashion event.
This edition follows last year’s inaugural event, which drew over 100,000 attendees and more than 60 fashion brands.
This year’s edition will reaffirm the participation of last year’s fashion brands like Tommy Hilfiger and DKNY, as well as new ones like Dolce & Gabbana.
The event will include virtual stores where attendees can browse new fashion collections from some of the greatest fashion brands, attend runways, and take part in real-time parties.
The Metaverse Fashion Week event will also include panel discussions in which fashion and technology experts will explore the opportunities for the fashion industry in the digital world.
During the past few days, Decentraland already hosted a pre-metaverse fashion week, with a series of initiatives to prepare the community for the main event. Among these was a party sponsored by Hogan and Exclusible, featuring famous DJ Bob Sinclar on the decks.
The MVFW will officially begin tomorrow, March 28, 2023, and will last until March 31, 2023.
On the first day, there will be a runway show by Dundas, panels by Threedium, Dragon City, and Vogue Singapore, an ALO Yoga meditation session, parties by Vroomway and LowPolyModels, and much more.
