Decentraland has released the schedule for the world’s largest virtual fashion event, Metaverse Fashion Week (MVFW).
The event — which will take place from March 28 to 31, 2023 — will celebrate digital fashion with virtual storefronts and community-designed activations.
Some of the top fashion brands taking part in the event include Dolce & Gabbana, which will virtually showcase the winning designs from its Future Reward competition; Tommy Hilfiger, which will offer daily product drops and AI-generated fashion designs; and DKNY, which will bring its SoHo landmark wall to the metaverse.
Adidas will also be there, showcasing its innovative collection of virtual gear.
Some of the community-designed activations will include a virtual party featuring multiple wearable NFT airdrops organized by Diesel and HAPE, and virtual yoga and meditation sessions by Alo Yoga.
MVFW23 has also partnered with leading digital fashion houses — such as DRESSX, Phygicode, and The Fabricant, among others — to celebrate the community’s creations.
This year’s Metaverse Fashion Week, organized by Decentraland and UNXD in partnership with the Spatial and OVER metaverses, builds on the popularity of the last year’s inaugural event.
MVFW22 drew over 100,000 guests who — for the first time — had a look into the future of fashion and saw the involvement of over 60 well-known fashion brands, including Dolce & Gabbana, Tommy Hilfiger, Selfridges, Guo Pei, Paco Rabanne, Hugo Boss, and DKNY.
