Jack Butcher, the founder of Visualize Value and a former creative director with 10 years of experience in Fortune 100 advertising in New York City, has embarked on a new journey into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The new visionary initiative aims to honor the four elements of nature — earth, fire, water, and air — while adding a new dimension of empowerment to the acclaimed “Checks” collection within the Visualize Value portfolio.
The collection, dubbed “Checks Elements,” was collaboratively conceived and co-published with Jean Milant, a renowned master printer known for establishing Cirrus Editions in Los Angeles. It consists of 152 artworks, available as NFTs accompanied by their physical counterparts, featuring the renowned social blue checkmark symbol in a range of hues, symbolizing the four elements of nature.
Each digital artwork in the collection is unique and minted on the Ethereum blockchain. These pieces are generated by a generative algorithm that also influences the creation of their physical counterparts.
The 152 pairs of artworks are divided into six tiers, all based on multiples of the original four elements: Alpha (4x), Order (12x), Isolate (16x), Composite (24x), Compound (32x), and Complete (64x).
The auction for the Alpha Elements, specifically Earth, Air, and Water, will commence this week at Christie’s on Tuesday, May 16th.
After the conclusion of the Christie’s auctions on May 23rd, known as Checks Day 100, the remaining artworks in the collection will become available 24 hours later.
Starting from Checks Day 101 on May 24th, six consecutive auctions will be held, beginning with the “Completes” tier and concluding with the final Alpha Element, “Fire.”
Notably, 30% of the proceeds from these auctions will be dedicated to supporting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
