American cloud-based software company Salesforce is expanding its service offerings with the launch of Salesforce Web3.
Salesforce Web3 includes drag-and-drop tools for creating and managing NFT collections directly through Salesforce, as well as API integration to enable connections that would allow real-time customer insight analysis and monitoring of blockchain activity.
Salesforce Web3 also embeds safety features, including preventing Web3 fraud and guaranteeing an authenticated NFT checkout.
Salesforce conducted research and found that customers primarily saw NFTs as a way to modernize loyalty programs and engage with consumers in Web3. As a result, Salesforce has also introduced the option for its clients to run NFT loyalty programs.
Salesforce released its NFT Cloud pilot program last June, allowing brands to mint, manage and sell NFTs directly on the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform.
Salesforce also collaborated with The City of Miami, TIME, and Mastercard to launch a new NFT initiative in July — which included the release of approximately 5,000 NFTs designed by 56 local Miami artists — with Salesforce handling the minting and selling of NFTs via NFT Cloud.
