SUMA Wealth, the leading Fintech company for young Latinos in the United States, announced today that it has incorporated blockchain-based attendance and accomplishment verification to its Dinero Bootcamp, the company’s distinctive experience.
The new program is provided in collaboration with Arizona State University, which will provide graduates with authenticated Certificates of Completion. Certificate holders will have access to more programs and benefits within the SUMA educational system.
The first 1000 students from all cohorts who successfully complete the Dinero Bootcamp course will be awarded “Baller of the Class” badges based on non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The NFT badges are based on the Proof of Attendance Protocol (POAP), which proves attendance and accomplishment in areas such as budgeting, saving, creating or increasing credit, lowering debt, investing, and net worth development.
Badge holders have access to extra services such as 1:1 mentorships and priority access to events and other activities on the digital campus. When applying for schools, employment, or credit, the ASU Learning Enterprise certificates and SUMA’s approved badges enhance graduate credentials.
