Square Enix has revealed further details on its highly anticipated Symbiogenesis Web3 project.
In a newly released teaser video, the company unveiled more about the landscapes that would characterize The Floating Continent, its 6-chapter story-based digital realm.
Among the elements seen in the video are The World Tree, a huge tree that “anchors the Continent with its roots,” The Laboratory, where research on the World Tree will be conducted, a collapsed school, and a destroyed hospital.
In addition to revealing some of the regions and elements that will populate its digital realm, Square Enix has also stated that its game will have 10,000 NFT characters that will be unlocked and sold when each chapter — a total of six — is unveiled.
Characters will have their own race, profession, and gaming usefulness. They will also come with a bust-up picture that can be used as PFP (Picture for Proof).
Square Enix also stated that Symbiogenesis’s full website will be accessible on Friday, March 17th.
Square Enix has long teased the fans with glimpses of its Symbiogenesis project, surrounding it with narratives and an adventurous spirit.
The Web3 project was initially introduced by the Japanese holding firm in November 2022; last month it announced a collaboration with Polygon and provided further details about the game.
