Square Enix has recently taken to X (Twitter) to unveil new details about its forthcoming Symbiogenesis Web3 game, offering fans the opportunity to acquire non-fungible token (NFT) characters for Chapter 1.
The announcement introduces the “AllowList Entry Campaign,” a two-week program that enables fans to participate in the official Discord channel, engage in various activities, including quizzes, and earn points to secure a place in the upcoming NFT auction.
To take part, participants will need to connect to the Discord channel and link their wallets. Points will be represented by Relics, NFT items that participants can acquire through events like the Treasure Hunt and community-based campaigns.
Activities on Discord will include The Prologue Quiz with 15 questions, The Lucky Bloom with 10 questions, The Majority-Minority Game with 2 questions each, and The Hella Difficult Quiz.
Following the activities, a ranking system will determine the points earned by each user, with the top-ranking participants having a chance to obtain an NFT character at no cost.
Users can monitor their ranking and accumulated points on the Symbiogenesis website. The campaign is scheduled to run until November 21, 2023.
Square Enix, renowned for its iconic role-playing video game franchises like Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and Kingdom Hearts, has long been teasing fans with glimpses of its Symbiogenesis project, creating a sense of anticipation and adventure.
The company first introduced its Symbiogenesis NFT project in 2022, with the goal of establishing a digital realm featuring collectible NFT characters, serving as both social media profile pictures and in-game avatars.
In March, the company provided more insights into the project, unveiling The Floating Continent, a 6-chapter narrative-based digital realm, which will introduce 10,000 NFT characters as each of the six chapters unfolds and becomes available for purchase.
