Lysol, a brand of American cleaning and disinfecting products, has filed a trademark application signaling its plans to enter the metaverse and the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
According to the application submitted to the USPTO on July,19, the company aims to provide:
- NFTs;
- Virtual cleaning preparations and wipes;
- Digital and cryptocurrency financial and trading services;
- Marketplaces for digital currencies, NFTs, and cryptocurrency;
- And more.
The news was shared earlier today by metaverse trademark attorney Michael Kondoudis.
