FWD Insurance has launched its first non-fungible token (NFT) collection of robot-themed artwork as its maiden entry into Web3.
The collection, which debuted at the insurer’s 2022 Step Change leadership conference, includes nine robot artworks created by FWD employees. Each robot symbolizes a different leadership quality and promotes innovative thinking.
The Robot NFT collection is now available on the OpenSea platform but cannot be purchased.
According to the insurance, the release of its robot NFT collection marks a significant milestone because it represents the brand’s first-ever activation within the metaverse. After involving its internal staff in this NFT program, FWD stated that it hopes to improve client experiences even further by expanding its engagement activities to the metaverse.
