hi, a simple and functional crypto and fiat app, has announced the debut of the first-ever debit card with NFT avatar customization.
Powered by Mastercard, the card gives cardholders the option of customizing its face with an NFT they own. Afterward, they can use the card to make payments at any Mastercard-accepting facility.
At the moment, the NFT avatar customization only supports certain NFT collections, such as CryptoPunks, Moonbirds, Goblins, Bored Apes, and Azukis. Other collections may be added in the future, however.
Various hi NFT debit cards are available (Basic, Black, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond), each with a different set of benefits based on membership status. The benefits include earning boosters, spending rewards, and being enrolled in lifestyle subscriptions.
Membership is earned by staking hi’s token, and starts at less than 10 Euros.
Initially, the hi Debit Card will be available to hi members in more than 25 EEA countries as well as the UK.
