Hennessy, one of the “big four” cognac houses, has teamed with Friends With Benefits (FWB) DAO to launch Café 11, a new Web3 membership offering.
Café 11 will bring Hennessy’s 250-year history to the Web3, with the inaugural event taking place this December at Art Basel Miami.
NFTs will be used as membership keys and to get entrance to the first event for this experience. Each NFT is an artwork designed by acclaimed New York-based artist John P. Dessereau, and features drinks and cafés, mixing comics, street art, surrealism, and impressionism.
A total of 1765 Café 11 NFTs will be released on the dedicated website on November 4 at 1 p.m. ET, at $450 each. The sale will bring FWB 34% of the proceeds.
This is not Hennessy’s first foray into the Web3 space. It announced the sale of a golden edition of its Paradis cognac tied to an NFT on BlockBar marketplace in September.
