Superplastic and Gucci announced that they’re releasing the last installment of their collaborative SuperGucci NFT collection.
It is expected that those who purchased the SuperGucci Janky NFT, released during the snapshot on July 27th, will receive a SuperGucci Guggimon NFT paired with a detailed ceramic sculpture made at the Bitossi factory in Italy.
Earlier this year, Superplastic and Gucci announced the SuperGucci NFT collection, featuring Superplastic’s colorful Janky and Guggimon characters and classic Gucci patterns. The collection also included an Italian ceramic SuperGucci SuperJanky sculpture crafted by Gucci’s artisans in Italy.
As for future plans, Superplastic has revealed the upcoming launch of the Guccighost project in September, as well as new experiential art spaces launching in American cities in 2023.
Superplastic has manufactured and sold limited-edition designer toys based on its characters since its launch in 2018. A few brands and celebrities that have partnered with the company include Gorillaz, Rico Nasty, J. Balvin, Steve Aoki, Addfuel, McBess, Seen, FACT, County of Milan, Volkswagen, Oscar Meyer, and Paris Hilton with the “Paris Past Lives, New Beginnings” NFT collection.
