Givenchy has collaborated with fashion label Bstroy to develop the (b).STROY x Givenchy capsule collection.
Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Williams collaborated directly on the collection, which looks to the future of fashion through the use of innovative materials and details.
This time, however, the physical collection will be complemented by a touch of Web3. Some of the garments in the collection will come with NFTs designed in collaboration with the Web3 artist collective Felt Zine.
The digital collection includes 360 NFTs, each of which is a digital replica of one of the six styles designed for the new fashion line. Each garment costs between €479 and €520 and allows consumers in the United States and Europe to redeem the NFT right after the purchase.
NFT holders will be able to take part in a membership program that will be offered next year and about which no details are yet known. Some additional utilities, such as physical and digital events, may be revealed at a later date.
This is Givenchy’s first collaboration with a Web3 artist, however, it is not its first venture into the space. Givenchy Parfums created an NFT to support the LGBTQIA+ community in June as part of Pride Month.
