Ducati, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has partnered with the Web3 B2B SaaS platform, Web3Pro, and the XRP Ledger blockchain to develop an innovative Web3 program designed to enhance the overall fan experience.
Through this collaborative initiative, a series of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) will be released, celebrating and retracing the rich history, heritage, and future of Ducati.
The focus of the project is to extend the reach of the Ducati museum, which is located in Borgo Panigale, Bologna, Italy, into the digital realm.
The first digital collectible — which will be airdropped to fans for free — is a video showcasing all the Ducati logos that have adorned the tanks of motorbikes produced in Borgo Panigale from 1946 to the present day.
The scheduled release date for this inaugural NFT drop is Wednesday, July 26, and it will be accessible through Ducati’s dedicated Web3 website. Fans can join the waiting list ahead of time, ensuring they receive the NFT and future updates related to the program.
This move into the Web3 space was first unveiled by Ducati in July 2022, as part of its broader digital strategy to embrace new technologies, products, and services to attract a younger generation of fans who will carry the legacy forward.
