David Bowie‘s estate, the singer’s estate, which sold the publishing rights to his back catalog to Warner Chappell Music (WCM) in a reported $250 million deal, is releasing a new non-fungible token (NFT) project.
David Bowie’s estate is going to release the “Bowie On The Blockchain” NFT collection in collaboration with Web3 venture We Love the Arts and leading NFT marketplace OpenSea.

The collection will include works by nine different artists, each of whom has developed their own distinctive creations in tribute to Bowie and his effect on their artistic and personal identities.
Sales will begin on September 13, with revenues benefiting CARE, one of the world’s largest and oldest humanitarian relief organizations dedicated to combating worldwide poverty.
