Arctic Blue Beverages, an award-winning Nordic beverage brand, has announced the launch of a new ultra-premium Legacy Gin in partnership with the Finnish design studios Sarpaneva Design and Infinity.
The Legacy bottle’s distinctive design is based on the E415 prototype work developed in 1976 for Iittala by Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006), an international force in Finnish design.
Arctic Blue Legacy purchase rights will be given as NFTs, which will act as certificates of digital ownership and holder benefits. There will be 3,000 NFTs in total, each costing $1,500 and payable using Ethereum or a credit card.
The product is kept in the professional care of Arctic Blue Beverages until the NFT holder decides to exercise their purchasing right or transfer ownership over the Ethereum blockchain. When holders use their rights, the NFT morphs into another artwork, making it easy to determine whether or not an NFT still possesses the purchasing right.
