The fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue and its Singapore subsidiary are entering the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
The launch of Vogue Singapore’s first NFT collection, hosted by Opensea, will take place on November 10, 2021.
In collaboration with local and international designers, Vogue Singapore created two digital-only cover NFTs.
One cover is called “Triumphant Awakening”, and features a golden statuette standing in front of a rotating blue planet. Meanwhile, the other is called “The Renaixance Rising,” and features lightning that changes depending on the time of day.
The first Vogue Singapore’s NFT cover was crafted by the metaverse artist and Nike 3D designer, Chad Knight, in collaboration with Jamela Law and Lionel Wong of Singapore-based Baëlf Design.
Instead, the second NFT cover was created by The Fabricant and Shavonne Wong.
In addition, Vogue will also launch two “beauty NFTs” created by Korean make-up artist Dain Yoon and Singaporean-Italian design studio Lanzavecchia + Wai.
