Digital collectible platform VeVe has unveiled a gamified Batman-themed experience set to launch on its upcoming metaverse platform, VeVeVerse.
Originally announced in 2021, VeVeVerse offers users a space to showcase their VeVe collectibles and engage with one another within a virtual environment.
Kicking off this platform is “Gothic City Vol 1,” a fully Batman-inspired experience. A cinematic video preview lasting over two minutes, shared via social media, provides a glimpse into a virtual dark city filled with popular Batman characters, such as Penguin and Harley Quinn.
The creative minds behind this immersive experience are VeVe Content creator and Vault builder, Mr. Falcon (@MrF4lcon), and VeVe collector and Vault builder, TalesFromTheRisso (@TalesfrM), working in collaboration with the VeVe team.
While specific details remain undisclosed, the primary objective of the experience is to “escape from Arkham.” This marks the first of a trilogy of tales to be introduced within VeVeVerse.
Notably, this isn’t VeVe’s first venture into the Batman universe. In April, the platform introduced the Batman: Black & White collection, offering black-and-white digital collectibles showcasing Batman in various poses.
VeVe has long maintained a prominent presence in the NFT realm, consistently delivering digital collectibles inspired by beloved cartoons and films. Earlier this year, the company partnered with Sesame Workshop to present an NFT collection featuring iconic Sesame Street characters.
