Nine-time Grand Prix motorcycle racing World Champion, Valentino Rossi, is extending his digital horizons by embracing a new venture within the metaverse. In this latest move, Rossi is set to launch “ValeVerse,” a virtual experience within the leading metaverse platform, The Sandbox.
The development of ValeVerse is a collaborative effort between Valentino Rossi’s VR46 Metaverse project and Gravitaslabs, an independent technology company operating in the Web3 space and a subsidiary of Animoca Brands.
Within the experience, users will be able to partake in quests, engage in mini-games, and collect various in-game items — all while earning rewards.
One key feature of this experience is the “ValeVerse Pass.” Pass holders will unlock exclusive benefits, including opportunities to participate in raffles for signed merchandise, race tickets, and the chance to meet Valentino Rossi in person.
This latest venture builds upon Rossi’s previous foray into the metaverse earlier this year. In March, he made his presence known in the Roblox metaverse with the launch of “Moto Island.” Data shared on the official VR46metaverse Discord channel reveals that the experience garnered over 1 million visits within its first month of launch.
Valentino Rossi’s journey into the Web3 realm commenced in 2022 when he partnered with media holding company The Hundred to launch his first virtual world project, VR46 Metaverse.
