Game development company The Tipsy Company has unveiled the upcoming launch of Nova Frontier X, a mobile third-person flight simulator combat game.
Kicking off on April 16, the game’s journey begins with the launch of the Nova Frontier non-fungible token (NFT) Spaceship collection, comprising 9,999 NFTs.
These NFTs are categorized into three characters — Human, Alien, and AI — and various rarity levels, including Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Players will be able to use their acquired NFT character in battles.
Players will navigate asteroid fields and planetary rings, engaging in battles with the main mission of safeguarding their Domain and uncovering the coveted Dark Nova Crystals. Victories and completed missions will yield points that players can use to upgrade and power up their Spaceships.
“We wanted this to be cinematic,” commented Tipsy, the pseudonymous CEO of The Tipsy Company, hinting at the game’s high-quality visuals.
Nova Frontier X caters to both seasoned blockchain gamers and newcomers, with no requirement for a cryptocurrency wallet setup to begin playing. Players can opt to engage in Web3 mode and buy NFTs or enjoy it like any other traditional game.
For those opting for the Web3 mode, Gin serves as the in-game currency, convertible to DNC for in-game transactions.
Scheduled for official release later this month, Nova Frontier X will be accessible on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
