Leading metaverse platform The Sandbox has joined forces with Cipriani, an Italian hotel and leisure company renowned for its luxury restaurants and clubs worldwide, to introduce an exciting metaverse initiative.
As part of this initiative, a virtual space, “Cipriani’s LAND,” will be established within the metaverse, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the enchanting streets of Venice, uncover the original Bellini cocktail, and even interact with the esteemed Cipriani family.
One of the main attractions in the virtual space is the iconic Cipriani Wall Street Ballroom. This venue will serve as a setting for various events, including masquerade balls, fashion shows, concerts, and more. The inaugural event on Cipriani’s LAND will be the Masquerade, where visitors will be able to partake in dancing and enjoy live music performances.
The virtual space will also include a virtual replica of Harry’s Bar, the famous restaurant bar established by bartender Giuseppe Cipriani in 1931, which has attracted a clientele of both elite individuals and celebrities for many years.
Cipriani’s LAND is situated in the fashionable Galleria neighborhood of The Sandbox’s expansive map; the neighborhood debuted in 2022, and is centered around fashion, media, and hospitality brands, creating a trendy and captivating environment for users to explore.
The Sandbox has proven itself as a dynamic hub that empowers brands to reimagine their identities, engage with younger generations, and provide customers with immersive experiences. Notably, noteworthy collaborations such as the partnership with Toei Animation to bring Japanese animations into the metaverse and the joint venture with DBS Bank to showcase the significance of building a sustainable world in their metaverse experience demonstrate the platform’s commitment to innovation and impactful partnerships.
