Ripple, the premier provider of corporate crypto solutions, has announced additional recipients for its NFT Creator Fund, which aims to help innovators bring their NFT projects to market on the XRP Ledger (XRPL).
Among them are 9LEVEL9, a metaverse experience that allows users to take part in live and virtual concerts and other events using NFT tickets, Anifie, an NFT marketplace that assists Japanese content creators and artists in capitalizing on their fan base and community to launch NFTs, and Cross-Metaverse Avatars, an avatar tool that allows creators to design and mint one-of-a-kind NFT avatars for use in video games and metaverse projects.
These and other projects were chosen based on specific evaluation criteria such as a clear mission statement, project roadmap, NFT utility description, and established community following.
Ripple announced its Creator Fund a year ago, with an investment of $250 million to support creators in exploring and crafting NFTs and other tokenization projects on XRPL.
Ripple’s Creator Fund is structured in waves, with each wave concentrating on a different theme. Wave 2 focused on music-related initiatives. However, regardless of the wave theme, NFT projects with any use case are welcome to be submitted.
The Creator Fund mission will continue with Wave 3, for which candidates will be able to apply in the coming months.
